just an update

After having spent more or less five years in Reunion island, we finally decided to start something new and to move on to something else! So, today I'm writing from Morocco! As a lot of friends constantly talk about their own blogs and as I find reading them quite amusing I thought about going on writing on this blog. Although I created it about a year ago, and only left two comments on it, I am quite motivated this time! thus I guess I will try to update it regularly. However, it will not always be in English. Let's say it will be more like a plurilingual thing, as to improve everyone's language skills ;-)
Anyway, now our life is happening in Morocco, where people are as friendly and welcoming as in Reunion island. We only had one unfortunate experience with a cleaning girl who had the bad idea of stealing all she found: jewellry, clothes and lots of other stuff... I know this could have happened anywhere but I have to admit that I was more than disappointed by it! I always treated her with kindness and respect and she just spoilt my whole idyllic universe!
on the other hand people here tell us that it doesn't only happen to newcomers and they like to share their own bad experiences. So I believe shit happens to everyone!
The children are doing fine! Ilaria is going to school now and I think that she's slowly getting accustomed to the new world! Iacopo is on his feet, discovering all those places that were unaccessible before and to my great surprise he became a real tomboy! the sweet little baby I once had to protect from an over-reacting and hardly self controlling Ilaria has now become a real little monster biting and hitting his sister as often as he gets the chance. Sometimes they really behave like cat and dog and it's hard to calm down their spirits as they're both quite stubborn and headstrong.
My initial enthusiasm on writing has already left me as an awful stomach ache is making it hard for me to think of anything else than taking a digestive... must be one of those Morocco diarrheas... awful thing! I should call sam, he's become quite an expert in it!
So that should be all for today! I'll try to catch up tomorrow!
